Best Diary of a Wimpy Kid T-Shirts, Books, Clothing, Toys and other Stuff

This Hub is a tribute to the commercial success of the stories of Greg Heffley, or better known as the Wimpy Kid. My kids are big fans of Greg Heffley. My eldest boy have all the books in the series, excluding the latest edition, "The Long Haul." They've also seen all the Wimpy Kid movies, with Greg's brother, Rodrick Heffley being their favorite character. I managed to purchase one of the popular Wimpy Kid board games, namely The Cheese Touch Board Game, but this seems to be not such a big hit with them. The ideal book to get your youngster to read!

I've been struggling with my 8 year old with regards to motivating him to read by himself. He had this fear of reading, that not even his teacher could explain to me. He had built up such a resistance against reading that I felt completely hopeless. By fate he got introduced to these books by a friend (one that loves reading!). This ignited the spark that his teacher and I have been waiting for. He got absolutely addicted to the books, as well as the movies. He went from being an unsure reader to a confident young boy that has got no problem, reading in front of an audience.

All of this would not have been possible, if it was not for the geniality of Jeff Kinney. By his straightforward simple way of introducing a story to the young ones he is pulling readers into the wonderful world of the English literature. There are thousands of kids (and their teachers and parents) whose lives have been touched by Jeff Kinney.
